Yann Benharouch, a Partner at Quaero Capital, has been appointed as a new member of the Board of UAB Vilniaus kogeneracinė jėgainė (Vilnius CHP). He replaces Jonas Rimavičius, Member of the Management Board and Chief Financial Officer of AB Ignitis grupė.
The selection of the new Board member took place in accordance with the transaction to sell a 49% stake in UAB Vilniaus kogeneracinė jėgainė to the Quaero European Infrastructure Fund III, managed by Quaero Capital.
The Board of Vilniaus kogeneracinė jėgainė comprises of three members: Mantas Mikalajūnas (Chairman of this Board), Yann Benharouch representing Quaero Capital, and Independent Board Member Paul K. Dainora.
The current term of the Board is until 19 October 2027.
Yann Benharouch is a Partner at Quaero Capital and one of the founders of its infrastructure investment activity, established in 2015. Since then, Quaero Capital has raised more than EUR 2.7 billion dedicated to investments in essential infrastructure across Europe, spanning sectors such as renewable energy, transport, telecommunications, water, and social infrastructure (PPP). Yann Benharouch serves as Managing Director within the infrastructure activity and sits on the boards of several portfolio companies, providing strategic oversight and sector expertise to support their long-term development.
